If the situation is too hard to handle, and that's the only option left then you might consider breaking up with you family. It doesn't necessarily mean that you need to get away from them for the rest of your life. But if you want growth for yourself and that's the only way you can achieve it, be kind enough to yourself by giving what you want. I know that it's quite hard, but we cannot deny the fact that there are members of the family who are toxic to be with. Growth cannot be achieved if you surround yourself with people like this.
